What is Threads?
Threads App is a text-based social media platform launched by Meta in 2023 and linked to Instagram. In order to access Threads App, users need to have Instagram account ahead since they are linked together. It is a very similar design and function with Twitter which is now called X that these days people call Threads as a copycat for X.
Problem
Current users are hesitant to utilize the Threads App due to lack of anonymity.
Solutions
Allowing users to change their profile information on Threads.
Able to change photography, account name or user name.
Allowing users to hide their Threads information on Instagram.
Provide an option of Threads account address not visible on Instagram profile page.
Allowing users to unlink their Threads account with an Instagram account.
Provide an option of users creating an account on Threads rather than creating one on Instagram ahead of time.

Current Setting Design for Threads
Currently, Threads App does not allow users to change their profile name or unlink their Instagram account. For those who would like to make any changes with their profile, they would have to change the information on Instagram since they are linked. Also, on Instagram profile, Threads account information is automatically linked.
